I always carry a hemp bag when I go shopping, no need for any plastic bags.

I sometimes forget my shopping bag, but I've found that if I force myself to *buy* a bag when ever I forget then I remember more often!

Why not bring a recycled bag (found in bins in front of most supermarkets) to wrap meat and fish - or better still stop eating meat and fish: best for the planet, and very probably, for your health too! Your tastebuds and buddies will soon get used to it.

This is easy. I'm already doing it because I almost always carry a big haversack everywhere I go anyway. And I hate to lug plastic bags around. It's so uncool.

I'm not worried about uncoolness - I use the plastic bags that have been thrown away by others, as it is the smallest footprint for now.
