I think these "Hooray Henry's" need a good slapping.
But then again they might enjoy it
Good luck with your pledge mate

Isn't it high time the Government imposed a tax on stupid, bigoted people calling for stupid, bigoted bans?

If the bird has a good life until cleanly shot, and is then eaten, I accept it though I couldn't do it.
But these criteria are not met for the vast majority of game birds, which are suffering victims of a bloodsport which must be ended.

Sometimes insensitive people try to justify 'sport' shooting on the grounds that it provides a green and humane source of food. It is time for it to be widely known that millions of pheasants are factory farmed and then abondoned in the countryside. The activity is just plain cruel which ever way you look at it!

I agree with Rodney Hale, hares should also be included. Apart from the cruel rearing and shooting of birds, shooting estates are the worst offenders for setting cruel and barbaric snares.

The ban should also include hares which are kept artificially high in numbers in some areas, especially East Anglia, so that they can be shot for "sport" with the excuse that this is a pest control exercise.
